Ventilator Department Print

Individuals with severe respiratory failure who can no longer sustain the mechanics of breathing without the assistance of a ventilator find confidence and security within Life Support Systems ventilator protocols. State-of-the-art equipment combined with clinical expertise and a strong commitment to education and training provide the most stable home environment for the ventilator-dependent patient.

Most of our patients are on ventilators and/or some other type of respiratory equipment because they are trached (have a breathing tube in their throat). Our Respiratory Therapists set up the equipment and train the patients and their caregivers on how to operate and maintain the equipment in their home.
